I was saved at Grace Church as a middle-aged husband and father of three boys. Since that wonderful day, we as a family – and I personally – have sought God’s will in our lives. I believe in the inerrancy of Scripture and the biblical call of missions within the community and to the remotest part of the earth. Titus 3:3-4: “For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy by the washing of regeneration and the renewal of the Holy Spirit.”

As a young man I lived a life of destruction and had nothing to do with God. Only after I was given a New Testament pocket Bible did I find that the Lord was seeking me out through His Word. No darkness or sin could hide me from His truth. Glory be to His infinite love! God the Holy Spirit restored me as His call had me publicly come forward during an altar call to ask God the Son, Jesus Christ, to take command of my life and submit to His leading at the age of 35. My wife, Janet, and I have been members of Grace Church since 1988. Blessed be His name!
Personally, He has shown me, O man, what is good and right: What does the Lord require of me, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with my God (Micah 6:8). Responding to God’s love, by His grace and mercy, through an act of gratitude. Thank You, Lord!
